A nursing mother, Ashizie Wapmak who was kidnapped by unknown gunmen at their residence in Kuruduma 3 in Guzape area of the Federal Capital Territory has regained freedom.
Kuruduma 3 is just a few meters away from the house of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike and Asokoro where many of the high profile Nigerians reside.
The victims, the mother of a week old baby and her 18 year old daughter were kidnapped in the wee hours of Saturday and released on Thursday night after payment of an undisclosed amount of money as ransom to the kidnappers.

The incident of Saturday, 16th of November 2024 left the family of Wapmak Emmanuel in shock after his wife who was delivered of a baby just a week ago was kidnapped along with her 18 year old daughter.
The kidnappers were said to have forcefully gained access to the room while firing gunshots sporadically.
Wapmak Emmanuel however managed to escape from his house.
The kidnappers who initially demanded the sum of one hundred million naira later reduced it to a figure Mr. Wapmak could not disclose to AIT.
