The Ogun State government and some other organizations have described the retired Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu, as a professional and competent police officer.
The climax of eulogies came at the pulling-out ceremony of CP Alamutu from the Nigeria Police Force in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.The government says he will be missed in active security circles.
It was an official pulling-out ceremony of CP Alamatu from the Nigeria Police Force after 35 years of meritorious service.
The grand finale took place at the Arcade Ground, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, where several organizations came to honor CP Alamutu RTD. Notably, the PCRC, Police Community Relations Committee. The official multi-million gatehouse at the Ogun State Police Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, was also named after him by his constituency.

The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, whom CP Abiodun Alamutu served, described him as a highly rated professional and dependable police officer who contributed to a peaceful Ogun State.
RTD Commissioner of Police Abiodun Alamutu, regarded as the “Operations Man” in several interviews and engagements with journalists, expressed his hope to retire peacefully after being engaged in many battles.
The retirement ceremony was climaxed with a reception at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library.
