The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC says, the commission is now in possession of non sensitive electoral materials ahead of the November 16 governorship election in Ondo state.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner for the State, Oluwatoyin announced this at a workshop on effective communication for staff of the Commission organized by the international Press centre held in Ikogosi, Ekiti.
The commission assured residents of the State that their votes will count in the November 16 Governorship election.

The state’s resident electoral commissioner Oluwatoyin Babalola, reaffirmed the commission’s preparedness for the conduct of the poll.
Earlier in his remarks, executive director, international Press centre, Lanre Arogundade said, there is the need for concerted effort to ensure the governorship election reflects the will of the people.
Arogundade added that the workshop is organized to enhance the capacity of INEC staff and curb misinformation ahead of the off cycle governorship election in ondo State.
