The Ondo State Government says it remains committed to granting women greater access to economic empowerment, human capital development, equal opportunities and rights.
Secretary to the state government Taiwo Fasoranti said this at a one-day workshop for female appointees and elected officials in Akure, the state capital.
Fasoranti who represented Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa at the event, emphasized unity and collaboration as key to ensuring the delivery of dividends of democracy to the people.

He said plans are underway to unveil various strategic plans towards women empowerment and development in Ondo State.
He also encouraged women to work together with a view to benefiting from various government policies aimed at making life more meaningful for them.
The commissioning of a skill acquisition centre was one of the major highlights of the event.
