Members of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) in Ondo state have suspended their indefinite strike to further engage the state government.
They took the decision after a meeting with government officials led by the state head of service, Bayo Philips .
Members of the association had last Friday embarked on an indefinite strike over poor welfare package.
Addressing Journalists at the end of their executive meeting, in Akure,the state chairman of the association, Felix Orobode directed all members to resume at their duty posts on Tuesday.

He said the association decided to call off the strike because the state government has met some of their demands.
Recall that the association had embarked on an indefinite strike on Friday 31st January 2025 over Structure and financial effectiveness of their 2024 promotion, welfare among others.
