One injured, five kidnapped as bandits storm Zamfara village

At least five people were kidnapped and one injured during an attack by suspected bandits on Maguru village in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
According to a post on Tuesday by security analyst, Zagazola Makama on X, the incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. when armed assailants stormed the community, firing sporadically and abducting residents.
Sources said five individuals were taken during the raid, while a 30-year-old man, identified as Mu’azu Salisu, sustained gunshot wounds and is currently receiving treatment.
Security forces have since launched a search-and-rescue operation to track down the kidnappers and secure the victims’ release.
