Oscars 2025: Actress Halle Berry recreates controversial Oscar 2003 kiss with Adrien Brody in front of his girlfriend, says ‘I had to pay him back’ (video)

It was ‘payback’ time for Halle Berry at the Oscars 2025 red carpet as the actress kissed Best Actor winner Adrien Brody in front of his wife and the media. Recall that Brody had kissed Berry on stage as she was presenting him with his first Oscar for The Pianist at the 2003 Academy Awards.  The controversial kiss remains one of the most talked about moments in the history of the Oscars.  On Sunday night Berry and Brody recreated their iconic kiss, this time on the red carpet.   The actress, rocking a shimmering silver gown, surprised Brody while he was giving interviews on the red carpet. She interrupted him and planted a kiss on him.  In the viral video, Brody’s girlfriend, Georgina Chapman, was seen clapping and laughing along with the audience.
