Oyo Govt Upgrades Moribund Farm Settlement In Eruwa To Ensure Food Security

Oyo State Government has embarked on the upgrade of moribund 3,250 hectares Farm Settlement inEruwa to an Agribusiness Industrial Hub as parts of ongoing efforts to ensure food security in the state.

Performing the ground breaking ceremony Governor Seyi Makinde said the project, if completed, would put Ibarapaland on the global agricultural map and create thousands of jobs for youths in the zone and across the state.

In terms of food production and agric produce, Oyo state ranks top in the southwest region.

To ensure food production and security in the southwest and all over Nigeria, Governor seyi makinde is putting words to action through the revamping of the moribund 3,250 hectares Eruwa farm settlement

Some representatives of the government at the event lauded Gov Makinde for resuscitating the moribund farm.

The state government expressed confidence that the new Agribusiness Hub in Eruwa would also be a success story that will guarantee food sufficiency.
