Philippine VP Duterte impeached, faces Senate trial

The Philippine House of Representatives impeached Vice President Sara Duterte on Wednesday after more than the requisite number of legislators, many of whom are allies of the president, with whom she has a fierce political feud, filed a petition to remove her from office.
