A 28-year-old final year student of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO), identified as Precious Arobo, has reportedly died by suicide in Ondo State. Arobo, a Higher National Diploma (HND) II student, was found lifeless in a bush near his residence, in what sources described as a deeply distressing incident. Local residents discovered his body and reported that a suicide note was found at the scene. Although the specific contents of the note have not been officially disclosed, sources close to the matter suggested it pointed to emotional struggles, possibly stemming from a troubled relationship.   The incident has left the community in shock, with many describing Arobo as a kind and well-loved individual. His grieving parents have since buried him.
