The Ogun State Police Command has launched an investigation into the d3ath of 21-year-old pregnant woman, Tosin Lawal, in the Ilaro area of the state. It was gathered that Lawal was nine months pregnant when the incident occurred on Monday, March 10, 2025. The spokesperson for the command, Omolola Odutola, stated that the deceased suddenly experienced an unusual sensation in her heart, identified as heart palpitations, despite having no prior illness. According to a police situation report from the Ilaro Division, the husband, Akeem, rushed her to the Ore-Ofe Specialist Hospital on the morning of Monday, March 10, 2025, after she complained of a rapidly beating heart. Upon arriving at the hospital around 3:30 p.m., Lawal was reportedly declared d3ad on arrival by the doctor on duty.  The husband said Lawal told him that her heart was beating faster. The doctor declared her d3ad on arrival after she was rushed to the hospital, the PPRO stated.  The police have advised Akeem to take his wifes remains to the State Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.  Coroner forms have been submitted for further investigation into the cause of d3ath. The post Police probe d3ath of 21-year-old pregnant woman in Ogun appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
