Osun State chapters of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, have directed their members working in local government secretariats across the state to withdraw their services from today following concerns over political unrest in the state.
A statement jointly signed by the chairman of NLC Christopher Arapasopo and his NULGE counterpart, Nathaniel Ogungbangbe said they fear for the safety of their members amid ongoing faceoff between Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration and the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC.
