Nigerians have expressed outrage after young secondary school students were seen in their school uniforms, standing in the pouring rain while waiting to welcome President Bola Tinubu to Benue State. A video shared online shows the students lining the road leading from the Makurdi airport. The road was flooded due to the rainfall, and passing cars splashed water on the children as they waited in the rain, singing welcome songs. Nigerians took to various platforms to criticise the Benue State government for its handling of the president’s visit. The president is visiting Benue today, June 18, for condolences following the mass@cre of over 200 people by Fulani herdsmen in Yelwata, Guma Local Government Area. See videos below.      View this post on Instagram           A post shared by Lindaikejiblog (@lindaikejiblogofficial) The post Reactions as Benue students stand in the rain with passing cars splashing water on them as they wait to welcome President Bola Tinubu (videos) appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
