Rivers state government suspends all political appointees

The Rivers State Government has suspended all political office holders and appointees across the state.  A statement issued on Wednesday, March 26, by the Chief of Staff to the Administrator of Rivers State said that the suspension was in line with the powers conferred on the states Administrator, Retired Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, by President Bola Tinubu. The statement added that the suspensions are with immediate effect. The affected officials include: The Secretary to the State Government (SSG). The Chief of Staff.
