Suspected serial cat k!ller arrested in California

A suspected serial cat-killer was arrested in Southern California this week after being caught on video attempting to grab a cat, according to authorities. The Santa Ana Police Department released footage on Wednesday showing 45-year-old Alejandro Acosta Oliveros allegedly scooping up a cat between two cars in Orange County. His arrest follows numerous reports of cats being abused and killed in the area. Police say Oliveros was identified by multiple victims and witnesses, and evidence of the crimes was found at his Santa Ana home. While detectives have not confirmed the exact number of cats allegedly killed, they believe it is a significant amount, with reports suggesting more than a dozen cats have been harmed. Local residents in Orange County have been posting warnings for weeks about a suspected cat-napper who has been seen on cameras luring and abducting pets from their homes.  One disturbing post shared on Nextdoor detailed an incident in which a neighbour’s cat was allegedly killed after being injected with an unknown substance. Another claim described a man tying a cats legs and taking it away.
