Suspected terrorists launched an attack on the staff of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission along the Gusau-Funtua highway in the early hour of Sunday, killing the driver and two others.
The staff were said to have been on their way to Abuja for an official assignment when the suspected terrorists attacked them on the ever-busy Gusau-Funtua Highway.
The State coordinator of the commission and other travellers were abducted into the forest.
According to eyewitness account, the driver of the Commission and two other persons were killed during the attack by suspected terrorists.
Coordinator of the RMAFC is identified as Bashir Abara Gummi who had spoken with a friend confirming his abduction while with his abductors.
The attack is coming barely few hours after another group of terrorists had launched an early morning attack along the same highway and abducted Unspecified numbers of travellers.
The fleeing terrorists have been attacking travellers along the ever-busy Gusau-Funtua highway killing and abducting innocent travellers almost daily.
At the time of filing this report, the Zamfara State Police command told AIT via telephone that they were not aware of the report of the attack but would find out and revert.
