Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has provided updates on Manchester United move for Bryan Mbeumo, Andre Onana’s future and Luka Modric’s free transfer to AC Milan.
Mbeumo has already told Brentford his intention to join Manchester United.
The decision to sign Mbeumo is as a result of the likes of Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Jadon Sancho leaving Old Trafford this summer.
But earlier reports had it that Brentford appeared to be making the transfer difficult, having turned back two bids from Manchester United, insisting on £65 million.
However, Romano reports that “Manchester United remain in active talks for Bryan Mbeumo also this weekend, hopeful to get green light by the end of next week.
“The player maintains his word; he wants to join Man United, not entertaining talks with other clubs.”
On André Onana, he said the Cameroonian is “expected to be out for several weeks but the player remains focused on staying at Manchester United this summer.
“No official bids on the table so far despite early interest from Saudi in May.”
He added that AC Milan have already received approval from Luka Modric’s lawyers on his one-year contract as medical has been booked.
“Tests due to take place on Monday in Milano,” he said.
