United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guteress, says Africa must not be left alone to deal with conflicts and wars, tasking the international community to actively support the entrenchment of peace on the continent.
The UN Scribe said this in an address at the opening ceremony of African Union summit in Ethiopia.
Guteress took a subtle jab at Rwanda for the activities of the M23 rebels in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.

The summit with the theme “Justice for Africa and People of African Descent Through Reparations”, comes at a time thousands have been killed in that area and also in Sudan where a war is approachig its second year.
