WAFCON 2024: Super Falcons land in Casablanca for final preparation

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have arrived in Casablanca, Morocco, for their final preparations ahead of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Twenty-two players and team officials arrived in Morocco’s economic capital on Wednesday night.
The contingent were joined by Bay FC striker, Asisat Oshoala, and China-based forward, Folashade Ijamilusi.
Justine Madugu’s side held Portugal to a 0-0 draw in a pre-WAFCON friendly in Lisbon on Monday.
The Super Falcons will take on perennial rivals, the Black Queens of Ghana, in another friendly on Sunday.
The nine-time champions will open their campaign in Morocco against Tunisia at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium, Casablanca, on Sunday, 6 July.
They will also face Botswana and Algeria at the same venue.
