The Jigawa State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a suspect accused of beheading and mutilating an Almajiri after killing him.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Lawan Shiisu Adam, disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen, stating that an investigation is currently ongoing.
Recall that DAILY POST had reported how the body of the victim was discovered in a sack in Gwaram Local Government Area on Wednesday, with his head and private parts removed.
Police statement further explain that, “The corpse was later identified as that of a 14-year-old Almajiri, who went missing two years earlier.”
