Americans protesting against spending cuts by the Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE, and President Donald Trump’s policies have vowed not to back down.
On Saturday, tens of thousands of the protesters stormed Washington, New York City, Philadelphia and Los Angeles in rallies against Musk and Trump.
The protesters vowed that they would make the two men “afraid” until the change.
One of the speakers at the Washington Monument, activist minister William Barber II described Musk and Trump as dictators.
According to him, the US President and Elon Musk “who want to be dictators and want to be kings and lords, they are afraid of the power of love and truth and justice!”
The activist told the crowd that Trump and Musk “are afraid of your unity and diversity. Well, let’s keep them afraid until they change”.
He declared that the nationwide protest”is an outright battle for civilization”, stressing that they “are not going to bow to power drunk neofascist extremists.”
