Wike Says He Wanted Outright Removal Of Gov. Fubara

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, says he wanted the outright removal of Governor Siminalaye Fubara, but the declaration of a state of emergency by President Tinubu saved the situation

The Minister who was speaking during his monthly media chat in Abuja while reacting to the emergency rule in Rivers said he is willing to forgive the Governor if he sincerely pleads for forgiveness.

Meanwhile, the Minister has made it unequivocally clear that he will work for the victory of president tinubu in 2027 accusing the leadership of the peoples democratic party and the governors forum of being insincere
