Zamfara Governor’s Wife Distributes 40,000 Ramadan Palliatives To 250 Less Privileged Families, Downtrodden

The wife of Zamfara State Governor, Huriyya Lawal, has distributed 40,000 Ramadan relief packages to less privileged families across the 14 Local Government Areas of the State.

The Governor’s wife said two hundred and fifty thousand people benefitted from the gesture, to enable the poor and vulnerable people observe the Ramadan fast with ease.

The items distributed across the three senatorial zones include rice, maize, millet, beans, sugar, spaghetti, salt, and cooking oil, as well as wrappers for the women.

Hurriya noted that the initiative will support families during this month of Ramadan and bring relief to the beneficiaries.

She called on the people to continue to pray for the Governor and the administration’s success in tackling insecurity and restore lasting peace in the state.

Beneficiaries of the Ramadan package could not hide their joy as they expressed delight and gratitude to the Governor’s wife gesture.
