The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has commended former Governor Sani Ahmad Yariman, Mahmud Shinkafi, Abdulaziz Yari, Bello Matawalle and other members of the party for ensuring the unity and progress of the party as well as supporting members and supporters during the Ramadan fast.
The Party leadership gave the commendation in a communique on Sunday, during its State Working Committee (SWC) meeting chaired by its Chairman, Umar Danfulani.
The party commended the efforts of former governors, Senator Sani Ahmad Yariman and Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi for ensuring unity among members of the party.
It also commended former governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, for his financial and other support including grains and clothing materials to party members especially during this Ramadan fast where hundreds of thousands of APC members drawn from the 14 local government areas of the State are beneficiaries.

The party said Senator Yari has provided 496 truck loads of assorted food items with 280,000 persons drawn from each of the 14 LGAs benefiting and easing their hardship during the Ramadan fast.
The major opposition APC praised the former governor of the State who is now the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle for distributing half a billion naira cash also to many party members drawn from the 14 Local Government Government Areas including former commissioners, former Special Advisers and former local government sole administrators among others.
It acknowledged the efforts of Mukhtar Idris, former deputy Governor, Ibrahim Wakala and member of the House of Representatives, representing Maru/ Bungudu Constituency, Abdulmalik Zubairu for positively touching the lives of several party members in different ways during the Ramadan fast.
While the party encourages all the leaders to keep up with the good work, praying Allah to continue to give them halal ways to help others, it called on other well to do individuals and groups in the society to emulate their gesture for continued growth, unity and peace within the party.
