Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has doled out ten million naira to the families of two police officers who lost their lives in an encounter with bandits at Natsini village in Argungu Local Government Area of the state.
Presenting the money to them on behalf of the Governor, the state Director of Securit, Abdurrahman Zagga, condoled with the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, the Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, Officers and men of the State Police Command over the loss.
Zagga commended the efforts of the police and other security agencies in combating crimes in the state and urged them to sustain the tempo.

Responding on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, the Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, Bello Sani thanked Governor Idris for his magnanimity and kind gesture to the families of the deceased police officers.
The CP advised the families to judiciously utilize the token in addressing their financial needs, before the payment of their benefits.
