The father of Virginia Giuffre has expressed disbelief over claims that his daughter died by suicide, insisting foul play was involved. Sky Roberts said there was no way Ms. Giuffre, who famously settled a sexual assault lawsuit against Prince Andrew, took her own life, stating during an emotional appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored:First of all, I couldnt even believe it. I started crying right away. Im still crying. I cant believe that this is happening. Its just… impossible. He continued: For them to say she committed suicidetheres no way she did that. Somebody got to her. I dont think she committed suicide. Ms. Giuffre, 41, was found dead on April 25 at her rural farmhouse in Neergabby, about an hour north of Perth, Western Australia. Her family later stated she had been a “lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking.” Mr. Roberts described her as someone who had “gotten out of a bad situation and made something good of it,” adding:She was helping a lot of other young girls who were suffering like she once did. She was strongvery strongand thats why I dont believe she took her own life. She had too much to live for. She had her foundation. His comments echo concerns raised by Ms. Giuffres lawyer, Karrie Louden, who said there were big question marks surrounding her death. Louden pointed out there were no indications Ms. Giuffre was suicidal in the weeks leading up to her passing.In a resurfaced 2019 tweet, Ms. Giuffre herself wrote:I am making it publicly known that in no way, shape, or form am I suicidal. If something happens to me… do not let this go away. Too many evil people want to see me quieted.Following her death, her family released a statement describing her as a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse, but admitted the toll of abuse… became unbearable.According to police, emergency services responded to a call about an unresponsive woman at the Neergabby property.Police and St John Western Australia attended and provided emergency first aid. Sadly, the 41-year-old woman was declared deceased at the scene, a spokesperson said.Authorities have confirmed that the death is being investigated by Major Crime detectives. Early indications suggest it is not being treated as suspicious.Virginia Giuffre was one of the most outspoken accusers of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his former associate, Ghislaine Maxwell.
